The series comprised of individuals Letterman terms as “personally inspiring”, sees him gain a rather personable and candid perspective from the 21 time Grammy Award winner. One of the most enlightening topics in discussion between the two, is ‘What makes an Individual a good Rapper?’, standing currently as one of the best-selling Musicians of all time, he uses rappers such as Snoop Dogg and Eminem to elaborate his point.

In the case of Eminem, Jay says “You can be someone like Eminem and just have amazing cadence, and it’s like syncopation… It’s almost like you become the percussion inside the music.” “There [are] multiple ways to be good. Some people just have it all.”
